Description
This is a bully build. With Hammerblow on your Branx Mk III Arbites Shock Maul and various Impact increases like The Emperor's Fist you will be dishing out tons of stagger while having solid damage output against all target types.
When we stagger someone
- Force of Will replenish 10% Toughness
- Forceful is our Keystone and gains a stack (+5% impact, +2.5% dmg, 10 max stacks)
- Target the Weak causes that enemy to take 15% more damage (melee staggers only)
- Suppression Force debuffs the enemy's damage 20%
Against staggered enemies
- Strike Down provides 15% Rending
- Breaking Dissent causes you and allies in Coherency to deal +10% damage
Additionally
- Concussive causes weakspots to make the enemy count as Staggered 4 sec. This is most relevant for Monsters and Crushers (the ones you haven't fully staggered yet)
- Arbites Grenade is our Blitz which provides a source of AOE stagger (which works on Monstrosities), and Lone Wolf provides one nade every 45 secondsj
- Break the Line is our Ability, on a fast cooldown (faster when we hit enemies due to Targeted Brutality ) which lets us stagger heavier enemies and provides a damage and impact bonus for 6 seconds
- Arbites Vigilant shifts the playstyle to be more aggressive; with 10 stacks of Forceful (generated by 10 staggering hits) you'll gain +25% Strength for 12 seconds, but it removes your stacks. This means you want to use it against heavier opponents and immediately land staggering hits on enemies if possible (to rebuild your 10 stacks during those 12 seconds).
- Targets Acquired provides 10% attack speed and 50% cleave at max Forceful stacks. This is why you should be mindful when you use Arbites Vigilant, since attack speed and cleave are really good against horde enemies. But remember the charge itself generates stagger, so if you charged 10 horde enemies you'd instantly be back to 10 stacks.
For your ranged weapon feel free to pick your favorite specialist-eliminator. I've chosen the Exterminator Shotgun, which is solid out to mid-range against specialists as well as providing some situational horde-clear. The Revolver is another solid choice, as it's even better against specialists out to extreme sniper range, though it doesn't do much more than that due to limited ammo capacity (but that will generally be fine due to the rest of this build being more than adequate against most targets).
