Description
General Theme
This build is centered on high control with solid damage output. Between forceful and Break the Line and the shield you can simply stagger everything forever. The only thing this build will ever struggle at is boss DPS. You are the team's frontline so play forwards, get aggressive, make space.
Why the Cybermastiff
Because you didn't buy this class so you couldn't have the dog. Also this dog is heavily underestimated as a team mate by the current popular consensus. What kills you in games is the edge cases and the dog saves you from numerous edge cases. Plus the dog is easy hands free damage. It can save you from muties and pox hounds. It also can stagger red ragers or purple ragers in havocs. It can pick off snipers and trappers hands free. Will run roughshod on gunlines all by itself. Its one of the best support utilities in the game frankly and while you do give up excellent grenades you get to keep an also still excellent grenade on regen. There's really no reason not to take this critter besides just not wanting to.
Weapons:
After many recent games I think shield has been heavily underestimated by the community. While its not the highest damage output weapon it turns the arbitrator into one of the sturdiest characters in the game. Able to freely fight into some of the dumbest situations imaginable and never lose. For this reason on this build I am replacing the Arbites Shock Maul with the MK6 shield and maul. The Mk3 shotgun is still by far the single strongest ranged weapon on the class but it might deserve a review of its effective blessings after so many changes.
V2 Notes:
Arbitese Vigilant could use a look at but I don't know where to get the points. Its strong but Soulguilt scan is also strong on a weapon that can headshot cleave for free and i'm not sure i want to lose out on the 20% ogryn damage. Maybe that's where to spend points though since strength is better than damage usually. Look at swapping Monstrosity Hunter with Arbites Vigilant for future testing.
