I do reccomend this build mainly for auric maelstrom and simmilar stuff. Do not use it in Havoc your team will miss the shock mines :(

Mostly melee with heavy dog damage support. Mk VIII Exterminator Shotgun for sniping specials and some elites.

Important to hit heads consistently, especially in melee as it will procc a lot of things.

Gear:

You dont have to use scattershot. Even though the weapon has little spread, I still think that crit helps me the most as I wont spam the shotgun a lot and usually only do a single snipe.

The wound trinket is optional. I like running a wound on auric maelstrom though. CDR is mandatory as you want high castigator uptime. You also need some stamina regen for push attack spam.

 

Attack patterns:

Singletarget: Heavy -> light     for chaining two quick vertical strikes (you can also do heavy -> block cancel, but it is slower at least on crushers)

AoE: Push attack -> Heavy -> Heavy    for chaining three horizontal strikes with a lot of cleave plus push control.

 

The bleed from razor-jaw is really good. Not only does it give you AoE damage, it also reduces the amount of pounces for e.g. a bulwark kill from 5 to 3 pounces and bleed can enable combo effects for other classes.

Man and cyber-mastiff is also underrated. It doesnt give you huge burst toughness, but a significant amount over time, especially if suffering from DoT or if you get separated from group.

Unleashed brutality also is a must have, it not only gives 25% damage, it also makes the dog do what you want him to do without permanent manual targeting.

Castigator stance makes you almost immortal in auric and malocator ensures good uptime. Try to keep CDR shot for scary situations. I'd say it is the best shot for this build.

The 6 stacks of brittle helps your team a lot bringing down crushers and together with strike down you will do a lot of damage to crushers.
