Description
IMPORTANT: This build is not VOID type specific.. You can use either Void staff, both strike and blast work perfectly with it.. both staff types use the exact same stats(on voidstrike your dump stat is charge rate, on voidblast your dump stat is peril resistance)both have their distinct advantages.. In this build.. I do generally run voidblast since you don't have bonus stam regen.. it's safer that way.. but voidstrike if you've got impeccable positioning.. is INSANE damage. Voidstrike gains insane output from safe free casting.. so boils simply down to this..
Voidblast if you need more survival and struggle with positioning or just need more heavy CC for certain content..
Voidstrike if you wanna shit out insane numbers.. this build will clear with voidstrike.
Yeah.. this is a weird one.. but it's surprisingly very good.. So basically.. you NEVER have to worry about peril management.. obviously.. your baseline peril management will be harder.. but it's fine because you have the solidiy+reality anchor combo which means venting is nearly instant.. but like.. you don't need to get to max stacks of scier's gaze.. the whole point in this build is peril management safety.. the trick with this build is to get up to 15(which is incredibly easy) and then just dump until you red line and drop into warp unbound.. by the time it's over, you'll have scrier's gaze up again.. again.. it's really brain dead peril management with a TON of free casting.. In the fire reborn nets you insane cooldown reducion.. this is the easiest ranged plague build you could possibly play.. but it's not the most versatile vs other builds..
Things you can expect from this build.. Plague builds, outside of Surge Blaze obviously, generally are weaker vs heavy ranged threat.. this build however doesn't have issue because of it's immense anti range survival via immunity and incredible toughness regeneration.. you will not have to worry about peril management obviously, it's also got very good output.. it's slightly more than Variant A Plague Strike but less than Variant B Plague Strike..
I know toughness regeneration speed seems like a weird choice.. but with the sheer amount of arbies and if you actually play properly.. like a good psyker will be at least the second most coherency rated player on a team(well should be.. I always am).. but anyways.. even by itself.. before it's coherency toughness regen advantages.. it also dramatically reduces the time it takes to start regenerating toughness after taking damage.. which is an important advantage for this build.. you have so many ways to regen toughness passively over time in this setup which toughness regen speed affects as well.. like in this build you have EVERY possible passive toughness regen talent.. In this setup.. you are basically amplifying the gain of all toughness regen talents in a build combined.. But because you don't have stam regen and bonus stam.. You will have to rely heavily on good positioning and weave casting in this build.. or you will die.. just saying lol.. Psyker has inherently high stam regen but stam regen + stam puts Psyker over the edge of being basically a bit better than baseline Hivescum before regen bonuses(obviously hivescum is just monstrous after stam regen is added and nothing beats them there).. but yeah you will feel the stam regen loss.. so play smart.
