Description
TL/DR: Shoot at things far away, use Smite to stop hordes, once overheating hit Scryer's and melee stuff down. Simple.
Build: medium complexity, easy to play, (still testing for Havoc)
Roles: Overwatch, Elite/Heavy Killing, Crowd Control (slight)
Meshes with: Bubble Psyker, Inferno Psyker, Aggro Ogryn, Healer
Clashes with: --
The Infantry Lasgun with Infernus and paired with Perilous Combustion puts both Burn and Soulblaze stacks on Specials and non-armored Elites at range. Mk IIb for non-Havoc, Mk VII for Havoc. The constant crit-ing from Headhunter and True Aim will keep you protected from shooters via Empathic Evasion. This weapon will clear hordes in a pinch but it consumes a lot of ammo, so try not to.
When things get start getting close slow them down with Smite until overheating, then activate Scryer's and switch to melee. The Deimos Force Sword can then melt hordes with light attacks. It can take down heavies using the block-cancel, light stab, heavy stab pattern. Superiority and Uncanny Strike on the Deimos is god like, focus on softer heavies first to build Superiority stacks, once those are built up you can take down anything in a few hits. Uncanny Strike stacks also apply to Bleed and Soulblaze. Don't use the sword's activation unless you are at low peril and need to deal with a singular heavy, otherwise it will get you killed. Warp Resistance is the dump stat and I'm experimenting with having it below 60% in order to use the activation to help keep peril high when Scryer's is down.
Soulblaze kills alone are enough to keep Malefic Momentum up. The cleave from Warp Splitting benefits both melee and ranged attacks. Can't decide between One With The Warp or Anticipation Since Scryer's and Smite are your only usable source of Peril and with the way they work, it is almost impossible to blow yourself up.

At Auric level or below swap out Perfectionist for Lingering Influence, you don't need the extra damage and there is a real danger of running out of targets to keep Disrupt Destiny up.
