THE BREACHER is a melee-focused build which combines the Break The Line ability's fantastic CC on a low CD with the powerful buffs from our Execution Order keystone. 

 

The BREACHER is a born frontliner, bringing strong control, disruption and utility to any team composition. 

 

 

RECOMMENDED WEAPONS:

Melee: Shock Mauls, Tactical Axes, Combat Axes

Ranged: Bolter, Shotguns, Bolt Pistols 

 

 

This variant of The BREACHER opts for the non-Arbites Shock Mauls for one main reason: Skull crusher. Skullcrusher is a high value blessing, providing a significant, team-wide damage boost on staggered enemies (which also applies to DOTs). Damage on stagger for the King/Queen of stagger? Don't mind if we do. We pair this with Hammerblow for the additional impact and subsequent safety in combat.  

 

Our Bolter is set up primarily for monster-hunting and serves well enough for special sniping. Cavalcade & Puncture blessings combine with EO's Keeping Protocol to give us some serious burst damage when shooting monster weakspots. 

 

 

BLITZ: REMOTE DETONATION (DOGNADO)

Dognado is an on demand, regenerating source of CC which also applies the electrocution effect. Using this results in an explosion centred on our dog, dealing damage and staggering/stunning enemies caught in the vicinity. 

 

Used well, Dognado can stagger a pack of Rotten Armour Crushers with bad intentions, clear trash mobs, and even stagger monstrosities. 

 

Tip: Using this ability well requires a minor level of dog micro as the best boy is also the epicentre of the Dognado explosion.

 

ABILITY: BREAK THE LINE (BTL)

This ability is yummy. Instant dash, CC, damage and impact buff, all on a very short cooldown? Also sounds amazing. Love this ability, very strong, very satisfying, very thematic. As an old Footknight-enjoyer, it can be hard for me to use anything else. 

 

We take both here Commendation from Condemnation, for the toughness and stamina regen, and Targeted Brutality for the CDR.

 

Tip: Use this ability frequently to regen toughness, stamina and flatten enemies offensively & defensively. We are the Juggernaut. Embody this. 

 

 

KEYSTONE: EXECUTION ORDER (EO)

EO is an absolute powerhouse keystone, with or without our best boy. Base EO gives us +10% attack speed, +10% damage, and +15% toughness after killing a marked target. Something we'll be doing very often :) 

 

We take Keeping Protocol and Not Far Behind for the +30% damage vs. monstrosities and the decent offensive buffs, after our dog has pounced. 

 

 

ALTERNATE TALENTS: 

This talent tree is 30/30 and is my preferred way of running this build.

To free up talent point(s), I'd suggest dropping: Not Far Behind / Soulguilt Scan.

The curios listed above are my preference for this build however this is based on how I like to play. 

Use whatever best fits your playstyle however I find the most value in the set ups below, YMMV:
