Description
Press F to boost all of your damage, and swipe for days.
Concept
Tries to stack damage output from ability activations via Advanced Power Management and Moebian Conductor . Slice and Dice plays into the theme and makes claws even stronger but it isn't strictly necessary.
Weapons prioritize crit generation to boost capacitance regen and maximize uptime. High regen rate helps keep Sequenced Charge active.
Variations
- Riposte can be taken instead of Perfect Strike on the transonics to maximize crit generation
- Decent costless node swaps
- If lacking toughness regen: Adaptive Combat Calibration for Servo-Core Recharge Engine
- Marginal melee damage improvement in hordes but less effectiveness against armor: Capacitory Limit Override for Hydraulic Impact
- Branx Mk CV Galvanic Rifle is an alternative ranged option for powerful elite/special removal. The claw boost lets it two-shot reapers and even heavily chunk carapace and bosses from a distance.
- The small magazine and finicky reload make it unwieldy compared to pistols though - needs some talent tweaks to be comfortable in scrambles:
- Exchange Slice and Dice, Electro-Strike Conduit, and 1 other (suggest Weakness Analysis Doctrine or Augmented Power-Cycle ) for Ammo-Cell Augury, Gunsmith, and Threat Detection Imperative .
- Optionally swap another node for Assassination Protocols to kill reapers even faster.
- Keep Capacitory Limit Override to maximize damage to reapers
- Blessings: Headhunter , Opening Salvo
- Perks: +Unyielding effectively required for Reapers. Suggest +Carapace as second perk since you can already oneshot H40 scab gunners on weakspots with claw boost stacks, but +Flak might give more wiggle room
- The small magazine and finicky reload make it unwieldy compared to pistols though - needs some talent tweaks to be comfortable in scrambles:
- M35 Magnacore Mk II Plasma Gun is another funny potential alternative to phosphor - the build's intent is primarily to melee frontline and the PG is a decent secondary for quickly deleting important targets. Suggest dumping heat management to ensure higher crit chance with Gets Hot! . Poor movement can be compensated for in a pinch by sprinting + activating claw to dash out of danger.
- Swapping the keystone to Flensing Protocols might theoretically be higher damage output / more consistent without relying on the claw boost, but I find it more brittle / less reliable in high pressure situations compared to Redline.
