Description
A build that focuses on all things voltaic, the Electrocutioner is both very strong and very easy to use.
Most of your fighting style will revolve around electrifying anything and everything with an even mix of ranged and melee. You will primarily be a mid to close range fighter but you can snipe with the Arc Rifle if you really need to. You will be especially effective at clearing hordes. Use the Arc Rifle to focus on the larger or tougher targets in a crowd and the voltaic arcs will soften up the rest of the horde as you do so.
The Arc Maul will control and finish off the crowd your Arc Rifle doesn't outright kill, switching to it frequently when engaging a horde will allow the Gunsmith talent to kick in and lets you keep fighting without having to pause the carnage for a lengthy reload animation. While reloading manually is technically faster than waiting for Gunsmith you will come to appreciate the hands-off approach when you find yourself need to switch back to the Arc Rifle suddenly. You'll be pleasantly surprised to see it already reloaded and ready to go.
Voltaic Emitter benefits greatly from the extra charges granted from Redline Capacitors, allowing frequent use of a very strong horde clearing and crowd controlling ability. You'll be constantly regenerating capacitance from electrocuting everything so be careful not to cap on charge and waste valuable capacitance recharge procs.
Medicae Servo-Skull allows for hands free ally revives in case of emergency and is generally handy to have whenever the hacking mini-games come up in a mission.
Your curios are mainly for enhancing capacitance recharge and general survivability. The damage resistance against gunners affects the most enemy types (Gunners, Shotgunners and Reapers) and is a safe filler pick for curio perks since the Medicae Servo-Skull makes ally revive speed buffs unnecessary.
