(Note: I am trying to remake this build on here from memory, I will remove this note when I am able to look at it in game and recreate it properly)

Are YOU tired of Monsterous and Captain level enemies taking up large amounts of you and your strike teams' resources? Then worry no more, this build is for you! With the changes to the Zealot skill tree and the Thunder hammer, this build has gone from being able to nuke 3/4 of a monster's health bar to one shotting anything with a health bar outside of named bosses, even at Auric difficulty (two things should be noted: 1) take down a Captain's shield first to one shot (duh) and 2) I haven't tested/confirmed this with Daemon hosts but let's be honest, you shouldn't be activating them all that much, if at all, if you're playing on Auric anyways).

It should be noted that you have to be careful with your aim when attempting this on the Pack Master, I have found putting your crosshair on his unarmored elbow allows for the the most consistent one shots.

The key parts of this build are the Thrust blessing on the Thunder Hammer as well as the skill tree itself, specifically all the bonuses to backstabs and critical hits. I have found that the Crucius Thunder Hammer allows for more consistent backstabs with its single target Heavy Special, everything else is for supporting you outside of those moments.

I like Hammer blow on my Thunder Hammer as you aren't often able to one shot the bigger enemies with regular Heavy attacks since the Crucius has Vanguard heavy swings even with weakspot hits but with Hammer Blow, it allows you to knock even Crushers and Ragers on their ass with a strong enough blow to the head.

The Heavy Las Pistol with the Infernus blessing is a solid option for dealing with the odd long range Sniper or Heavy Gunner, especially since you'll be proccing the Infernus blessing fairly frequently if you stay within coherency to get your fury stacks up. As an added bonus, it gives you a very fast sprint speed so you can swap between weapons as needed to help with your positioning, wouldn't recommend using it to get in position for the Monster Smite since Shroudveil's duration is fairly short and you still need to activate the Thunder Hammer's special attack for it to work.

The trinkets can be whatever you want them to be but I recommend speccing them for survivability and/or mobility since you're going to be getting most of that from mowing through crowds of chaff with your Heavy Swing to regen toughness and positioning yourself well.

Best part of this build is its ability to smite a Heretic of any size, the 2nd best part is the funny heretic ragdolls you get from hitting them with the equivalent force of a pick up truck (if you want Semi-truck level force, I recommend a Melee Ogryn build with the Cruncher). Regardless, I hope you enjoy this build as much as I do and happy smiting Rejects!
