The Voidstrike Staff has become a viable alternative for the Psyker since patch 1.13 and the overworked Psyker tree.

Explanation of skills + weapon perks: High crit chance leads to a.) high damage e.g. due to Perfect Timing , b.) many double bowlingball-shots due to staff-blessing Surge and c.) much Toughness regen due to Mettle. Therefore we take extra crit chance on both weapons, we take Souldrinker for even higher crit chance and Scrier's Gaze as THE crit ability for the Psyker class.

With Perilous Combustion + Wildfire and sword-blessing Blazing Spirit we spread the flames around the battlefield, which helps our overall damage massively AND it triggers Kinetic Flayer every time the cooldown of it is over.
