Crit. Fury Zealot for new players to train with and still work surprisingly competitive in Auric Maelstorm. This will help you face tank any enemies (that doesn't mean you don't need to dodge), while also helping you learn those dodge timing.
The main play-style for this build is just by spamming light attack and destroy every heretics in front of you with Mk 3 Heavy Eviscerator. Fury of the Faithful cool down is so short thanks to Invocation of Death. Since you have two, don't hesitate to use them against normal hordes.
If the hordes is a plenty, shove them and use the shove follow-up attack to do a full swing to every enemies in front of you (works pretty well with Shotgunners). +3 Stamina Curio allow you to use multiple follow-up attack. If you only have +2, it still works too.
You're super rarely want to use use heavy attack and rev-up (special attack). You're probably only going to use them when a Mutant are charging at you. If wave of Mutants are charging at you, dodge them, Fury up and engage them with your light attack.
Fury can be used to rush those pesky Gunners and must be used when facing hordes of Ragers. Thy Wrath be Swift will tank every attack and make you sprint faster, so keep swinging that Eviscerator while regaining your toughness by killing heretics and dodging. "Can't damage you when those heretics are already dead, yeah?"
You can spam light attack and kill multiple Maulers and Crushers, but you must aim at their weak spot (head) and use your Fury to put them down quickly. You can build up 60-85% Crit. Chances almost instantaneously when using Fury and triggering Blazing Piety. With Perfect Strike your light attack won't stop/stagger against carapace enemies.
You can face tank Plague Ogryn, Chaos Spawn, Scab Bosses and multiple Monstrosities (Weak), solo, while letting your team damage them from the distance. Make sure you remember their grab animation and dodge it accordingly. Mag dumping your Spearhead Boltgun will soften them up, thanks to Shattering Impact and Puncture. Don't hesitate to block when you're running out of dodges (only 4 for both weaponry).
The only Monstrosity you don't want to face tank is Beast of Nurgle. Their grab animation is so fast, you don't have the time to process why you're in their belly all of a sudden. When they're vomiting or targeting your teammate, immediately reposition yourself to their back to attack their weak spot and dodge it's tail attack.
Blades of Faith will be used against Pox Hound, Trapper, Sniper, Bomber and Flamer; while Gunner and Shotgunner only when you can't push them. As for Pox Buster, you need to keep your distance before popping them, and if they're too close to your teammate just tag and let your teammate shove those buster. If Pox Hound is at close range, use shove follow-up instead; if the Pox Hound happened to have Nurgle's blessing they won't get staggered by your shove, and dodging or throwing Blades of Faith is more preferable.
Spearhead Boltgun will be used to weaken hordes of Maulers and Crushers before you rush them, or against overwhelming hordes that cornered you and your teammate. Can also be used to save your downed teammate if the hordes are onto them. Just mag dump them and make the Emperor proud.
