7.5-15% Weak Spot Damage. Weakspot Kills also ignore Enemy Hit Mass.
Target receives 1-4 Stack(s) of 10% Damage if already Staggered. Lasts 5s.
1-4 Bleed Stacks from close range explosions.
5-8% Strength for every shot fired during continuous fire. Stacks 5 times.
Girth is king in Havoc when it comes to Ogryn. If you're ballsy enough to play Ogryn at Havoc 30+, you best bring your A-game. Can't let the littluns down. The goal is to be the unkillable frontliner of your team. The value you bring to the team is your ability to control crowds and tank bosses. You take the attention of the biggest threats so your team can safely burn them down.
Blitz:
Bombs Away! is not for killing, it is your "oh shit" button. A box can be used to nearly guarantee pulling off a revive in even the worst situations, since it will stun everything in a massive radius for a long time. I find that Bombs Away! is more broadly useful than the other two the higher you go. the Rock sadly loses its luster once the passive specials HP buff from Havoc starts kicking in and it doesn't one shot things anymore. Similar story with Frag Bomb. So I go with the blitz that offers utility outside of killing power.
Aura:
This is interchangeable between Bonebreaker and Stay Close!. I think Stay Close! is better because it is more broadly useful to your team, and because I like Hard Knocks. You're always staggering and knocking things over; it's just free damage. It's worth noting that Stay Close! is poorly worded and it actually only affects passive coherency toughness regen. But it can be useful, especially when the party is pinned down by shooters with nothing in melee range, which happens all the time in Havoc.
Ability:
Loyal Protector is the natural choice. Use it liberally to drag pesky shooters into melee, to disorient and stun mixed hordes in a huge radius, and to interrupt/boost damage/pull aggro against bosses for you and your team. With Bruiser it comes back fast. Use it often, the more the better.
Keystone:
This might be controversial, but Feel No Pain is actually incredible in Havoc. It stacks with all your other sources of DR and toughness regen and completes your profile as the frontline tank. Heavy Hitter is good too if you find you need the extra damage, but honestly if the shield Ogryn is the main source of DPS you have teammates that are not pulling their weight.
Weapons/Playstyle:
Your Slab Shield is your bread and butter, knocking things around with heavies and pushes. Pushing with No Pushover will knock over anything and everything. Crucial to Havoc is Attention Seeker. The sheer weight of fire from shooters is devastating, it's the main reason why the Havoc meta is basically psyker shield and gold toughness spam. Attention Seeker and Loyal Protector let you help by forcing shooters into melee. Your shield is your main source of damage against bosses. Grab their attention with Loyal Protector and pound the weak point with H1 spam while blocking any attacks with ease.
Rumbler is my preferred ranged option. I have a variant of this build with a Heavy Stubber instead for sniping priority targets, but if you have a good Veteran that should not need to be something you have to focus on. So, we lean harder into crowd control. The build takes Pacemaker and Reloaded and Ready. A fun thing you can do is fire off a Rumbler shot as you run into a big crowd of ragers and maulers - as you get there it explodes; bleeding and staggering everything. You reload lightning quick with Pacemaker and fire again, boosted by Blaze Away. This ensures everything is bleeding while you swap to your shield and get to work. If you do this regularly, you'll always have max stacks of Delight in Destruction. You can still kill pesky snipers or bombers if need be, just hit things in the head with the grenade.
Curios:
Toughness, Toughness, Toughness. And Stamina Regeneration. Blocking and pushing is crucial to your survival. Sprinting efficiency is helpful, so you don't get left in the dust by your crackhead Zealot. One Sniper resist will save you taking health damage from 1 shot at full toughness. Gunner resist is good for non-Havoc still, but you don't want to rely on it in Havoc. Even stacking 3 Gunner resists will not save you from being atomized by a single gunner in Havoc.
Alternatives:
You can totally ditch Pacemaker and Reloaded and Ready in exchange for Lynchpin and the toughness node up top, with an extra point for more melee damage, Payback Time or more Toughness DR. It's up to you and your playstyle. Heavy Hitter is an option if you feel you are lacking in killing power, same with Bonebreaker's Aura.
