This build is a "twist" on the build, where the Frag Bomb + SteadyGrid are dropped to access "Implacable" and another TDR node. Both provides even more DR during the heat of the battles. 

 

On top of that, after much testing testing, I just came back to 1 hard truth: It's very hard to replace the kickback as a clutch weapon. Compared to a Heavy Stuber, it flicks in an instant, will still 1 shot most specialists and distant threats, will 1 shot a mutant to the face and has the ability to turn to mist anything in "this general direction". Playing with the kickback just feels more organic. It will kill what needs to be killed and heavily disrupt the rest in less than a second (putting Ogryns on their asses for example).

 

How it works:

The build is simple. 

  1. Have as much toughness as possible and keep it topped with the amount of TDR you can have and the toughness regens on Heavy.
  2. H1+H2 (at head level) most hordes. Include a push here and there to taunt and disrupt. Most Heavies will 1shot.
  3. Block ranged shooters to force them into melee, thanks to "Attention Seeker" talent. If you can frontline and aggro them before they see the rest of the group, they will all rush to you, rendering a potentially very risky room in a walk in the park for the team. 
    1. It works SUPER well for snipers also, but they won't come to you. They will just throw a fit where they stand, doing nothing. If you see a sniper aiming at your group, try to position yourself in the way while blocking. You protect your squad member while disabling the sniper.

All in all, super fun build that really convey the "ogryn feeling". Super safe. You can generally walk in on a lot of situation like it's no big deal. You should be able to do any Aurics and several Havocs level with this, covering the biggest current flaw of ogryns: Shooters constantly chipping us.
