Empyric Resolve is used to gain additional charged attacks above 80% peril, capitalizing fully on Warp nexus for +20% crit chance. Warp Rider gains +16% base damage after obtaining 86% peril, so we'll recieve an average of 12%-16% base damage at all times.

Perilous Combustion will proc reliably if we select our targets well. Venting Shriek should only be used when above 86% peril to apply +6 Soulblaze stacks. Wildfire is only taken to ensure that the first Soulblaze stack is applied by us (instead of another Psyker using Perilous Combustion), ensuring that all enemies afflicted by our Soulblaze stacks which die (global, anything can kill them) will provide a 10% of giving us a Warp Charge.

This build is somewhat difficult to play and assumes that the player is comfortable with sliding/dodging while charging the staff to forego a large number of toughness nodes. Our primary means of regenerating toughness is Mettle, so we need to maximize our Crit Chance as much as possible on this build to remain survivable. Additional toughness chunks can be recuperated by using Venting Shriek, which should be SPAMMED.

Crit Chance == 7.5 (Psyker) + 5% (grey node) + 20% (Warp Nexus) =32.5% base Crit Chance per cast, and with Warp Flurry at max stacks we can cast nearly two charged attacks per second.

Kinetic Deflection, Wildfire and Empathic Evasion can be dropped to acquire Souldrinker, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you REALLY know what you're doing.
