A build I made originally for the Greatsword, but after thinking about it (and changing up a separate build slightly) I lost interest in using the greatsword for it. I already had the assail build if I just wanted to drop everything dead, pretending like I was spreading fire around without just using Gandalfs Shriek variant made it not that interesting. So I instead made it interesting by using the Devil Sword instead! And now also added a Blazing Spirit Voidstrike to it too!And tbh, it feels pretty dang good! Letting Perilous Combustion do it's thing within the wave and getting free crit for it is quite nice, and using a Devil Sword with Kinetic Deflection is something I didn't know I needed in my life. You can just parry infinitely, to the point you can even 'solo' a Demon Host by just parrying it within your shield until it kills itself. It's pretty nice, and the Voidstrike is a nice addition as well. I didn't have a bubble build that used the Voidstrike staff before this so it fit right in, on top of the fact it made that act of spreading flame an actual occurrence verses simply a possibility. Once you stack up true aim you just dodge away, load up as big a blast as you can manage, and either fire it down range at an armored target or fire it at your feet for an instant fireball explosion. And since I stacked Surge on it to (since you aren't supposed to be super spamming it, even if you do sometimes while you're waiting for the enemy to get to you), you'll always proc 8 soulblaze right off the bat, with likely another 3 coming in with a Perilous Combustion proc. It ends up working super well, just alternating between getting headshots with the Devil Sword/parrying to keep yourself alive then firing a double burning pot shot into the wave to ignite everything on fire. Feels quite good, along with having BB for more annoying super far off targets/specials and as a Kinetic Flayer proc for a free headshot toward true aim and extra Perilous Combustion flame spreading.Build feels a lot better like this I feel, gives it a proper purpose. The shield makes sure ranged fire is never an issue while you parry and burn everything to death, you can use it as cover if you ever need to BB/Voidstrike far off/armored targets, and the constant flame covers everything in between. Heavy attack string the wave/ragers/mutants and specials with the Devil Sword with the 10% attack speed to keep it chain stunned until something parryable comes along, and otherwise light attack spam for quick head shots and still decent clear against chaff thanks to all the crits. The fire kills give you toughness and more crit as well, with Disrupt Destiny ramping up your damage all the way while giving you toughness regen too. Everything give you toughness or regen, everything keeps you alive so you can just keep heavying, lighting if you need the hits quickly, and pulling out the staff to cast fireball whenever true aim's ready for you/when it's needed for Armor. Burn down Monstrosities too with Kinetic Flayer procs along with parries whenever needed on top of all that (stacking headshots for continual crits with the staff to keep the flame up). Just has it all, and feels real good. One can swap quietude for Soulstealer as well depending on preference, I just took Quietude for the few moments I don't have a shield up when it goes down (as I take crit over Seer's Presence) to keep myself topped off for the few seconds I'm 'naked' before the next shield can be placed. Souldrinker works a majority of the time for most of your warp kills anyway outside of armor, and having Quietude for fighting Monstrosities with Parry's is also quite nice. So I prefer it, but either work totally fine (or both, if you don't value toughness like I do).
