Tips:

When in need for Toughness restoration switch to Ripper Gun and fire 2-3 quick bursts.
If you are struggling with stimmed or healer enemies it means, that your are doing mistakes with legwork/distancing. Pickaxes got crazy range, so you have to hit enemies on max range (If you are low on Toughness) and continue kiting. And when you are full on Toughness, you can go for more aggressive damage hits.

Mixed horde cleaving:

Targets priority: Scab Trapper> Healers> Crusher> Bulwark> Reaper> Scab Mauler > Rest
Kill Crusher and Bulwark first, so you can cleave through the rest.
Versus Bulwark just charge your heavy attack and go straight through the shield from that direction and let go of your Heavy attack when you will touch Bulwark. First Heavy attack on Karsolas Mk II Delver's Pickaxe is coming from the right side, so we go from the right side for example. This will lead to stagger opening and an easy kill.
Alternative, but less effective way: Open shield with Special.
If Scab Mauler are present in the mix we are aiming at legs of the horde for cleaving and CC.
If Scab Rager are present we aim at heads, but if there are Scab Mauler in the mix, we are aiming at legs.

Combos:

On Crusher and Bosses use: Special>Heavy>Light combo.

On Mixed hordes: Just spam Heavy hits.
