Alright, this build went through a few different variants. Made this a mirror of Victor's 'Empowered Assail' build, and initially it was just a copy with one point change. But while it felt just as good, it didn't feel 'different', and after a second of thinking and realizing Empowered Assail basically does the same the other two Keystones do now (because the base damage of assail was jumped to 125 for some reason), it just also makes Assail free, I thought 'well this build unlike others has a bunch of points free due to using a gun instead of a staff, so I wonder if I can finally get Quick Shards to work using Disrupt Destiny...'And turns out, I can do even one better than that. This build works insanely well at not only using Quick Shards and actually feeling it, but also using Perfectionism on Disrupt Destiny. Because unlike all other builds I have that need the points elsewhere so I can't really go for Cruel Fortune (at least not without severally hampering whatever set up I'm using) or said build doesn't really go for constant headshots (when using Trauma/Inferno/Electro staff for instance), this builds entire purpose is going for headshots. And on top of that, it gets them INSANELY quickly and consistently, allowing you to keep up even a 25 stack Disrupt Destiny for almost all engagements so long as you're just a little greedy with kills/make sure to try and 'get a wave started' before your team meets it. I routinely saw 22-25 stacks in my lower bar (when it would show me my stacks anyway) and I'd only usually ever drop to around 12-15 in between waves, so it was basically as consistent as normal DD is for most other things but with a higher top end, a higher top end that felt GREAT when used with all the parts of this build.Assail melts just as good if not better than when it's empowered, your sword drops targets like butter even faster than normal, and your Infantry Lasgun actually drops targets pretty dam consistently. One could use any myriad of other weapons here, I just already have a Laspistol build, don't care for the Vigilant Autogun much, and have various other builds for anything else one could really think of to pair here, while NOT having a Infantry Lasgun build, so I utilize it. The bonus weakspot and crit damage feel incredible here, your own mini Executioner Stance with all the added damage attached. Tend to 1-2 tap most any special you shoot at, which is the only thing you will be shooting at outside of also Infernusing Monstrosities down. And it's just, so very fluid and fun.To finally get to the main combo/playstyle string, one starts a wave either with Assail raw, or by firing a uncharged Greatsword Blast down range (for stagger and peril for Warp Splitting) THEN start firing Assails down range. Kill a vast amount of things as it gets to you, often wiping a bunch of your Disrupt Destiny targets as you go, then swap to the Greatsword as things crash into you. Light attack them for days to proc By Crack of Bone with your horizontal and diagonal swings against heads, once you drop your peril by a few ticks swap back to Assail and throw another volley into the wave. Rinse repeat until the wave is dead, dropping moonblade blasts whenever you start running out of assails to wipe the wave and 'reset' for them to quickly recharge, and shooting your Lasgun when you need to to drop things such as Trappers/Dogs/Reapers and the like. Drop shields as they are up/you need them (as you don't take Quietude because you're sitting in a bubble consuming that constant regen, or getting the regen from DD procs), and you'll stay topped off, melt everything, and see damage one isn't used to seeing on a Shield Psyker. Push into heavy attack with the sword to knock down and then deal with armor with a heavy armor piercing poke, or follow up with heavy chops after doing so to finish anything off that survived the initial hit. And otherwise push whenever you need to as you got Kinetic Deflection in reserve keeping your stamina safe as you knock everything to the ground. It's actually a very free flowing build, gunning things down as needed, Assailing CONSTANtly, Greatswording to bring down peril and charge up a wave wiping blast, and otherwise stabbing down armor with heavy thrusts and chops. You're constantly drifting between all the options at your disposal, each one leading into the next with Assail into Crack of Bone into cheaper Assails into more Crack of Bone and moonbeam wipe, with 'gun' thrown in for good measure thanks to Malefic Malestrom and DD making it do surprising damage. Everything just hurts the enemy a lot here, and lets you always have an option for dealing with what's in front of you. Feels very good, with the DD move speed and Toughness regen just bringing it all together. Pepper shots at DD targets whenever you need to to keep your stacks up, Assail the wave to keep them flowing in nicely with all the free headshots giving 2 per kill, and then just Crack of Bone the rest. I repeat myself, but that's cause it's an infinite loop. Just make sure you don't get to overzealous with your peril/blow yourself up, and you'll be a high damaging, very durable and powerful Psyonic...well, god's a bit much, but lets say Specialist.
