Talent Tree
Description
What this build offers:
- Support the team with Nuncio-Aquila, Canine Morale & Execution Order (aka wallhack)
- Outrageous stagger that prevents damage for you and your team:
- Bonk on head: up to +286% Stagger. Heavy attack stops everything but Bosses (interrupts Crusher overhead, makes Maniacs fly)
- Lowest stagger (body hit on the second enemy while cleaving) is +150%, still enough to make basic enemies fall on the ground
- Vertical heavy>light loop is easier to aim for the head, but the build gets very rewarding when you manage to hit heads with Horizontal heavy>light loop. Great against mixed horde since you're cleaving and staggering everything including Crusher overhead.
- Buffed Doggo & Dogsplosion tech (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxWrVOkW0GQ):
- Good AoE damage with Remote Detonation + Bolt Pistol blessings
- Don't need to pickup Grenades: keeps teammates happy
- Good survivability with stagger + top talents + up to 20% attack speed (30% under Aquila)
- Bolt Pistol is quick to draw and good for Special/Gunner sniping. Also have good ammo economy: more pewpew for the team
- Good melee damage despite the defensive Weapon blessings
- Good against bosses with Keeping Protocol & Monstrosity Hunter. Usually you open with Dogsplosion + some shots with pistol (I like to keep around 3 bullets in case of emergency), then go into melee, put Aquila to buff everyone's damage and bonk the boss
Noteworthy choices:
- Not picking up Concussive: our weakspot hits already staggers everything. We take general damage buff instead (Not Far Behind)
- Go Get 'Em!: still testing but I really like it so far:
- Has hidden effect that multiplies the distance of autotarget by a large amount
- +50% passive damage is very nice
- Passively handles ranged, which are are the most menacing enemies for us since they cannot be Bonked
- Doggo won't bump a Poxbuster towards a player (the non-zero chance is a drawback of Unleashed Brutality)
- I typically ping Specials and Doggo prioritize pings over autotarget, so it's all good (playing with single ping pet command to save inputs)
