Description
As the name implies: This is a Zealot build that allows you to effectively deal with any threat you might encounter.
- When traversing the map:
- Primarily use your Tigrus Mk III Heavy Eviscerator to dispatch enemies you encounter, you can close the distance quite quickly while sprinting, which will always count for dodging ranged thanks to Swift Certainty .
- In case of a Mutant showing up rev your Eviscerator with the special attack in advance, then dodge to the side and hit it as it passes to deliver an easy killing blow.
- You should also use the special attack to dispatch single Dreg Ragers, Scab Ragers and Scab Maulers, keeping in mind you can strafe even while the attack animation is playing out. For Maulers in particular you should aim to hit them in the torso rather than the head to avoid their carapace armor.
- For heavier opponents such as the Scab Mauler , Crusher , Bulwark or Reaper you should switch to your Locke Mk IIb Spearhead Boltgun and hipfire a couple bursts to quickly dispatch them and anything around them.
- When a wave/boss shows up it is best to wait until they are upon you, then start by using your Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude to provide yourself and the team with some distance to thin the horde or damage the monstrosity, as well as a damage boost from Ecclesiarch's Call.
- Your flexibility allows you to assume whatever role is needed job during a wave/boss:
- For horde-clearing, use you Tigrus Mk III Heavy Eviscerator , the best combo for this is Heavy+Light+push for big sweeping attacks and some CC, which will take full advantage of the Rampage blessing. To single out tougher enemies in the horde such as ragers you can use the Light+Heavy combo, or rev your blade with the special action for a quick takedown (but use strafing to avoide incoming damage). If you feel the team is being overwhelmed you can place an Immolation Grenade right at your feet to quickly dispatch a good chunk of the horde around yourselves.
- For heavier opponents such as the Scab Mauler , Crusher , Bulwark or Reaper you should switch to your Locke Mk IIb Spearhead Boltgun and hipfire a couple bursts to quickly dispatch them and anything around them.
- To single out problematic specials such as the Scab Sniper , Dreg Tox Bomber , Scab Bomber , Dreg Tox Flamer Scab Flamer or ranged elites such as the Dreg Gunner , Dreg Shotgunner Scab Gunner and Scab Shotgunner you can use your Locke Mk IIb Spearhead Boltgun with aim-down-sights. 1-3 shots should suffice for most of these threats.
- For the Pox Hound Scab Trapper Mutant it is best to wait for their attack, dodge, and hit them with the sword (rev it up for the mutant for a quick kill).
- Use your Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude often during a fight, especially if you notice your team is starting to become overwhelmed. This will restore and boost everyone's toughness, and give you all some breathing room to thin the horde and adjust positions / rescue downed allies.
- This build has a lot of wounds and leans into the Martyrdom keystone. You should avoid taking damage by default, but if the situation is dire and you end up taking more damage than expected, you will gain the associated boosts from the keystone to help you compensate.
