Charge happily into elite groups, keep them disabled and away from your team, you have multiple options to do so between your weapons and abilities. The shield and dog allow easy and safe engagement of ranged enemies, here No Escape and Not Far Behind help in closing the gap quickly while blocking their shots. The shotgun provides a quick answer to specials and annoying ranged elites, or you can just dump on a horde blob to quickly remove them from existance.
