Vet Meta Havoc-40 (Updated)
 Veteran Build - Warhammer 40k: Darktide 

Updated for 'Depths of the Damned': This is what I think now... After some very careful consideration. To me, I still think 'Weapons Specialist' is great for an all-rounder type build if you path that way, but 'Focus Target' is more for bosses & big single-target DPS, which is more helpful for the team in general. I feel I've picked every major node that you're going to need for the most part.

Update: Since the 'Uncanny Strike' nerf, your killing power on the DS has gone down drastically. That's why I choose the Power Sword now. It's even faster at killing than the DS with bosses/elites/bosses. If you still like the DS, go for it, or even the knife, but in my mind this is the best. Also, it absolutely amazes me how many Vet's don't take 'Field Improv '; it literally blows my mind. It's staggering... Either they're completely brain-dead, or they're building a super specific build. But either way... you literally should be taking it... You can still get everything you want in the tree, & it's literally in the middle pathway. Please, don't be one of those Vet's.

P.s. Take whatever blitz as well; all the Vet options are actually great. Shredder is an all-rounder for heavy bleeds; Krak for single-target DPS, such as bosses or groups of Crushers/armor & Smokes for gunner cover - essentially, great for those pesky gunner seeds. Just personal preference, of course. You could also drop 'One Motion' or 'Out For Blood' in favor of 'Only In Death Does Duty End' for the auto res if that's your thing. Up to you.
