Description
This is my theorycraft build of the 'Cruncher.' I'm predicting this will be the best, but I could be wrong here! Only time will tell & I will have to update this accordingly. I tried for max DPS, along with decent survivability.
P.s. Thought about this for a hot minute! The blessing pool is very lackluster IMO on this weapon from first look, some of the strength blessings might be better than 'Hammer Blow.' We shall see... Obviously, 'Execution' is the top blessing on this number two will either be 'Hammer Blow' or something else, but I think I have it correct... This might be the best so far. You have enough stagger from 'Hammer Blow,' along with 'Great Cleaver' for your side heavy sweeps just like the Karl actually for full cleave potential. The move-sets are very similar, so this is the best I can think of thus far. If the DPS is nearing the Branx with the Karl move-set, that's fking wild & this will become the new Ogryn Meta most likely (melee-wise that is). 'Steady Grip' is also an option if you struggle with toughness. Just drop 'No Stopping Me!' for it & you could possibly remove 'Implacable' as well if both are not your thing to more defence nodes nearing the middle of the tree or even the 'Crunch!' node as well. Also, for your ranged 'Thugshot' might not be good, we'll see... Rumbler & Gauntlet might reign supreme still. I also don't take the 'Crunch!' talent because it's a bit too slow for my liking, but the overheads with this might be very good with this option... It's personal preference... Just my personal opinion of course... Don't take this to heart. Keep in mind I'm probably using this weapon more like the 'Karl' instead for its heavy spam patterns because it's just easier of course. I feel from the video it looks like the overhead is pretty slow, but I could be wrong of course... Looks are deceiving. I'll update this when I actually get to testing it in matches. If it's about the same as the Branx with overheads, then I might switch Hammerblow with one of the strength blessings & 'Crunch!' too, it all depends! There's just a massive grey area right now, so it's hard to tell with blinders on without testing. I'm an Ogryn main too with like 4k hours, so I'm hoping my theory is correct on this! lol. Some minor adjustments might have to be in order. Ogryn's pretty simple, so it's not rocket science to figure this out, sah... or maybe it is for an Ogryn, lol...
