Description
Summery: This is my current build for damnation Gameplay which excels at picking off specials elites and disablers while helping Hoard clear in critical moments It has a ton of mobility And survivability baked in to a few core gameplay elements. First, as the name implies you want always be clicking heads whether it be with your knife or your gun. Second, dodging optimally but not allowing yourself to run out of effective dodges is key, third using your knife's charge attack to outpace danger, forth is using your alt and grenades to get out of particularly dense situations.
Equipment:
Bolt Pistol: Its a very common choice for Squad leader veterans and it's easy to see why, it offers An expedient reload while maintaining enough power and fire rate to kill most elites and specials Even if it doesn't your enemy will be Stunned for long enough to close in for the kill or allow your team to do so. with this weapon Build you want to space out your shots somewhat to maintain high damage While letting bleed take care of the remaining sliver of health. however it can be replaced with another precise weapon of your choosing.
MK III Knife: This knife has a contentious reputation It's loved by veteran players and misunderstood by new ones Simply put this weapon maximizes critical hit chances in this build which allows you to build up bleed rather quickly however aiming for heads is optimal because this allows you to kill most lesser enemies in one to two hits. The learning curve comes from learning the rhythm of Chaining special kills one after the other using the charge attack to close the distance & inflict critical damage. It's also key to dodge out of the enemy's attack after a heavy stab this will allow maximal mobility when approaching melee classes. to reiterate light face stabs for the horde heavy face stabs for most elites and bosses.
Shredder grenade: it's a get out of jail free card in some cases but the regeneration allows for horde clearing just be aware of your count before heading into a dense situation.
Survival : Two of the most important things to know about survival with this build is using your alt as much as possible to keep Iron Will Active and allies toughness replenished. as well as prioritizing elites/disablers/armored targets to alleviate pressure on your team
Mobility: As stated using the charge attack (heavy Attack) can increase your speed however it is best optimized when sprinting then sliding at the apex of your attack. it's not always necessary maneuver but use it at your own discretion.
Conclusion: This is a very fun build if you like aiming at heads and zipping around the map, Just Don't Forget Your Teammates!
