Description
This is my Rat trauma staff inspired build It excels at horde clearing, Helping teammates, and breaking up incoming heavy formations.
Weapons:
Void Blast Force Staff: This will be your main tool to keep yourself alive in the thick of battle, You constantly want to keep refreshing Channeled force To keep active the 10% damage buff best rhythm is Two secondary blasts after Each primary fireball Though you can Squeeze out a third. It's best used for groups of enemies, choke points, toppling ogryns & disablers, as well as popping poxbursters.
Dueling Sword: This is an invaluable piece of Your kit with the new update to Special function swapping out the stab for parry, This has become unintentionally even more powerful. Simply put the parry Ability blocks and counters All melee attacks from the smallest pox Walker to the largest monstrosity (excluding disabling attacks). It is necessary to charge attack ONLY with this weapon as the hoard clear Is not good enough to replace your staff. Charged thrust attacks for big boys light thrusts for most others.
Abilities:
Psykinetic shield: This will be your bread and butter to keep yourself and your teammates alive, This ability should be spammed as much as viably possible for Numeral reasons, But general locations are choke points aiding teammates And blocking long distance fire As well as actual fire and nurgle vomit.
Brain burst: The main reason you're taking this is for the 5% ability regeneration However it is useful for picking off long range targets when necessary.
Crystalline will: This has been a controversial node in the past but with the current rework it has become a valuable asset, This Perk Now kills 60% of all specials In the game including many which appear in packs. This is the list of affected enemies: All Ogryns (crushers, bulwarks, reapers), all Gunners (shotgun, plasma, & machine), Maulers, & and both ragers. It is recommended that you wait until at least one enemy is at half health or less Depending on how heavily armored they are before you pop the ability. (Feel free to experiment in the meat grinder)
This build is agile and tough if you utilize your abilities and weapons appropriately
