Talent Tree
Description
Do-it-all Zealot!
This specific set of talents, using the Blazing Piety capstone, lets the Zealot play with a wide array of options for Weapons, Blitzes, and even choice of Ability. Play more offensively with Fury of the Faithful or more of a support/carry with Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude. Feel free to pick whichever weapons of the God Emperor and the Omnissiah you want to unleash on your foes.
Melee Weapons:
- You can run any of the good stuff: Maccabian Mk IV Duelling Sword, Munitorum Mk X Relic Blade, Tigrus Mk XV Heavy Eviscerator, etc.
- You are a melee beast anyway, but your choice of weapon will determine whether you are more of a horde, elite, or boss killer.
Ranged Weapons:
- Same deal with the ranged options: Artemia Mk III Purgation Flamer, Locke Mk IIb Spearhead Boltgun, Zarona Mk IIa Quickdraw Stub Revolver, Godwyn-Branx Mk IV Bolt Pistol, etc.
- Flamer for hordes and softening up everything, Bolt Pistol/Revolver for sniping, Boltgun for a more versatile option.
Curios:
- Toughness gets a lot of mileage with the Zealot's Toughness Damage Reduction talents and mechanics. Less cooldown on either of our abilities is very nice, and the Revive Speed is incredibly strong on higher difficulties.
- If you feel like you are constantly sitting at full Stamina with that set of curios, consider swapping some of the Stamina Regen for additional Toughness or Gunner/Bomber Damage Resistance.
Talents:
- You can swap Fury of the Faithful and the 2 other associated talents with Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude, Ecclesiarch's Call, and the Toughness Damage Reduction node needed to reach the bottom left side of the tree.
- You can also swap Benediction with Beacon of Purity, or Blades of Faith with any of the other two Blitzes, without requiring any relocation of points.
- Finally, you could also forgo Riposte and Hubris, saving 3 to 4 talent points, depending on the choice of ability (see next point).
- You can spend any spare points on any of these talents: Infectious Zeal, Backstabber, Anoint in Blood, Thy Wrath be Swift, or Purge the Unclean.
*Disclaimer: this build guide is, by no means, original. It is an amalgamate of builds by Mr. E, Tanner Lindberg, and other builds from this site. It's just my own, slightly tweaked version of all of those combined. Greatly influenced by this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq6mJ16Fric
