Description
Mixed Grenadier Ogryn build with a twist - "Make spiky people go boom. Understand?"
"Quartermaster say no flamethrower for Ogryn. Ogryn just hit strap flame button on gauntlet and maul instead. The Mekboyz would be proud."
- Flamer Grenade Gauntlet - Your own incendiary grenade launcher. No rumbler for a change, perfect anti-special weapon and still does decent horde control when paired with Fire Away. I'm a sucka for a tactical reload; otherwise, you could swap Furious with Keep Shooting. The special is great for massed groups of armour; soften 'em up first, then Smokey finishes the job.
- The Ol Smokey Power Maul - This here is ol Smokey, perfect for armour and mixed hordes. Fire Away is triggered on the special attack, turning this beauty into a flaming maul of death, which pairs well with Power Surge. Best horde combo is a push into Heavy-Light-Heavy to get full benefit of Beat Them Back with Furious and Great Cleaver. For the Lil'Uns is a solid pick here with solid uptime when it matters, when the team is taking damage and revives!
- Box of Bombs - Stacks with Fire Away like crazy, so a solid emergency button for revives and clutches. When Smokey's not enough fire, this is more fire.
- Heavy Hitter - Could swap for Feel No Pain, but I like the extra speed from Just Getting Started! and you get plenty of TDR from Don't Feel a Thing. Ogryn doesn't feel much to begin with; might as well move faster while not feeling it.
Honestly, this build was made just to experiment with Fire Away without a damn rumbler and turned out pretty good! Smokey approves.
