When you are using your ranged Achlys Mk II Heavy Stubber you want to be crouching when aiming and firing to boost your accuracy. You can also slide dodge during aiming and reloading to push over trash mobs that might be around you.
If you are finding your block broken too much with the shield then you can try going for Block Efficiency as a perk over Flak Damage
