Description
Ogryn isnt quite the melee powerhouse he used to be after the crusher hp changes, so I leaned into more supportive nodes here. You can disrupt the enemies very well by cycling taunt, Paul special attack, No Pushover, and rumbler shots.
Push often to utilize No Pushover and Brutish Strength. Brittleness on all the armored enemies is really good for any dots your team applies, and for your bleed. Shattering Impact also applies brittleness to everything in the blast radius only on the grenade gauntlet and rumbler (Unfortunately not the bolter). Hard Knocks is a big damage amp for your team but isn’t as good on final toll maps.
L->L->H loop for single target damage. Spam lights into hordes to maximize Go Again! procs as that can only proc once per swing regardless of how many enemies are staggered. The pauls L3 and L4 loop have 10% increased attack speed after the first loop, that combined with Frenzied Blows and Just Getting Started! result in a lot higher taunt uptime. Use the horizontal heavies when you need more impact to knock over an important enemy.
Bomber resist on curios is nice on ogryn, he is big and slow and has difficulty vaulting ledges so you end up stuck in bomber fire or tox gas longer than other classes. This resist affects both tox and fire bombers and feels nice to play with, feel free to swap it to your preference if you don’t mind bombers. Can't Hit Me...Again reduces my desire for gunner resist on curios. It works on all ranged damage unlike gunner resist which only works on dreg and scab gunners and reapers.
