Description
Taunt things and blow them up with paul special and gauntlet special attacks. Push a lot to debuff and taunt enemies. Use paul special off cooldown, even if its just a light attack to disrupt enemies. It is your job to take aggro and then disrupt the enemies with stagger and explosions.
Paul single target combo is L-L-H looping. Mixed hordes spam heavies for better impact and for trash enemies just spam lights.
Grenade gauntlet Shattering Impact actually applies to everything in the blast radius and the GG weapon special has a decent radius while providing stagger. Your pushes also add brittleness with Brutish Strength which will massively improve your teams’ dot damage which is really important for rotten armor missions.
You could drop a point somewhere for Strongest! , i’m just not sure where. Frenzied Blows feels really good with this weapon, Bruiser is excellent, Hard Knocks and Soften Them Up are excellent when combined since any effect that increases dmg on a specific enemy gets a little out of hand with scaling when you have a bunch of them. Thats also why Valuable Distraction is so good, but you could take the other modifier for more taunts. You will be taunting enemies naturally with Attention Seeker so I like the increased dmg node, both are good though.
I need to play more games with this build to see if its good or not, the idea is you take a massive health pool since health is not as impacted by havoc mode as toughness is, and then utilize Feel No Pain ’s toughness replenishment and when below half hp Too Stubborn to Die. You can take Stay Close! too, especially if you have a team that isnt melee heavy (flame psyker, needle pistol scum, etc). With such a massive health pool, half hp is still quite a bit of hp and double toughness replenishment is massive, you take toughness chip damage and regen so much it doesnt matter that you have a lower toughness total.
I still take toughness on the curio perk to get a bit more toughness, I value toughness on perk slots more than health. Ally revive speed is mandatory imo. For the last slot take your pick of gunner or bomber resist or ability cdr. I hate tox bombers with a passion and this resist works on both types of bomber. You will get stuck in a bomber cloud or fire patch occasionally, especially as ogryn since you are slow and cant vault over railings and boxes as easily as the other classes.
