💀 Combat Loop

1. Setup
Use flamer to clear mixed hordes and reduce pressure being put on your team before engaging high health targets with the Thunder Hammer

2. Engage
Move into flank or rear angle on a priority target, wait to shroudfield until you’re sure you can set up a backstab with slaughterer stacks built up for maximum damage potential

3. Execute

  • Dodge timing maintains Duellist uptime
  • Sustained Assault ramps DPS over time
  • Martyrdom scales damage as HP drops
  • Charged hammer heavies define kill windows

4. Sustain

  • Second Wind stabilizes toughness recovery
  • Until Death prevents instant collapse
  • Holy Revenant converts lethal situations into recovery windows
  • Enemies Within maintains passive sustain in melee range


 

Skill Ceiling Note

This build is not forgiving.

  • Mistimed dodges drop your damage window uptime
  • Poor Shroudfield usage removes your burst advantage and when used poorly can lead to unnecessary aggro on the rest of your team
  • Breaking melee tempo collapses your scaling
  • Mismanaging HP removes Martyrdom value or gets you killed

If you practice this build and learn how to use it effectively, it offers one of the highest risk/reward melee burst ceilings in the Zealot kit when executed correctly. Through my own personal experience perfecting this build and learning it inside and out, damage output can be upwards of 2-3+ million at Havoc 40. Your sole job is to eliminate high priority targets before they disrupt your teams coherence and stability. If you do your job, your team will be thanking you for deleting threats that could easily ruin runs.

A high-skill Martyrdom Zealot built to turn Shroudfield into guaranteed charged Thunder Hammer execution windows.
