Description
Trick the group's ogryn into thinking you're a Skitarii by wielding an Enginseer's Crowbar! Nobody else will be fooled, but what other options do you have until the Skitarii class releases about a month from now? None. So might as well mess with the ogryn, right?
Enginseer's Mk VI Crowbar is the focus of the build naturally, and we surprise nobody by taking fairly meta picks here. They're classics for a reason though, providing both Brittleness on hit in "single target" mode, and providing a sustained Strength buff when eliminating elites.
Branx MkVIII Dual Stub Pistols is our secondary which is one of the best weapons in the game against specialists, while also providing excellent mobility (less relevant in this build, as Crowbar has slightly above average mobility). (Note that we did not take Pickpocket so these weapons are mostly reserved for Specialists.)
Hyper-Critical and Crits are a side focus of the build, as the main way the hive scum likes to generate toughness and damage. It very frequently lets you one-shot "mid elites" like Gunners and Shotgunners (with a heavy attack in "horde" mode).
Hyper-Violence further increases our damage output in Mixed Horde situations, where overkilling horde enemies will ramp up our damage to make killing higher-health enemies that much easier.
Chemical Dependency we go all-out on, for the 20% crit, the 40% cooldown reduction, and the 20% toughness damage reduction. Our Stimm is crit-focused and so we only pick up Vultoprene II for a 45 second cooldown, but if you're on a difficulty below Auric Maelstrom you might want to trim it one further to Vultoprene I. (Even on Auric Maelstrom I found I weirdly couldn't run Long Lasting since weirdly there weren't enough horde enemies to clear, and so Sample Collector didn't cycle my Stimm fast enough to reach max Chem Dependency).
Rampage! is our ability, and we've gone all-out on it because it will cycle so often due to Chem Dependency, so we get the cool double-knockdowns, the Rending, the Attack Power and Cleave, and the duration increaser.
In other words the build is more about injecting yourself with so many chems that YOU think you're a Skitarii rather than actually playing particularly similar to one.
