Description
This is a Havoc 40 ready build. A straight forward, aggressive tank.
Your job is hit trading and holding threat. You'll do decent damage, but that's not the main focus here.
Notes:
- This build excels at hit trading. You have a lot of Damage Resistance, and Toughness Replenishment. So, you're able to focus on dodging serious threats like overheads.
- Big Friendly Rock and the Grenadier Gauntlet are great for taking out gunners and specials.
- Big Friendly Rock has an instakill override for Gunners, Shotgunners, Dreg Ragers, Corruptors, and all Specials.
- With weakspot hits, Big Friendly Rock can stagger monstrosities, captains and twins.
- I like to save the Big Friendly Rock for mutants, monstrosities, captains and twins. I use use the Grenadier Gauntlet for anything else I need to kill at range.
- Steady Grip is useful for building toughness if you have no enemies in melee.
- Batter is useful for keeping Delight in Destruction stacks up.
- Don't Feel a Thing vs Unstoppable.
- At max stacks, Don't Feel a Thing provides 10% Toughness Damage Reduction.
- At max stacks, Unstoppable provides 11% toughness per melee kill (versus the standard 5%)
- Alternatively, don't take either.
- Get Stuck In is nice, but not required.
- You could take Too Stubborn to Die or Strongman instead.
- You could drop this and Don't Feel a Thing / Unstoppable, then you could path down to Hard Knocks for more damage or take whatever else excites you.
