Description
This build aims to provide most consistent experience in lots of different aspects.
Seer's Presence and Psykinetic's Aura with x3 Ult CDR perks on Curios are necessary in order to have Scrier's Gaze available right after/shortly after it's effects wear off.
Try rolling as low Warp Resistance on Covenant Mk VI Blaze Force Greatsword as possible.
This way you'll have a way to generate a big portion of your peril to make full use of Warp Rider, Penetration of the Soul, Quietude and One with the Warp.
Few techs for Covenant Mk VI Blaze Force Greatsword:
- Physical attack of Warp Slice (Weapon Special) also generate stacks. Using it against high dense hordes up close can generate BOTH stacks (but more often just one) allowing you to spam it several times in the row.
- Warp Slice also can stagger majority of the enemies even with no charges. Stagger strength varies depending if you're using light or heavy Warp Slice. Since it can travel through obstacles, utilize it to free your far away teammates from Pox Hound's incapacitation.
If you feel like you can have a bit more damage res, then try swapping Immaterial Focus for Just a Dream, but it comes with it's own issues:
- Immaterial Focus will often give us stun immunity whenever we're hitting critical peril, which will happen a lot, giving the nature of this build. This allows us to not get stunned from a lot of damage sources, which might result in canceling your attacks or charges, both Warp Slice charge (that can even result in losing your WS stacks) and Equinox Mk IV Voidstrike Force Staff RMB charge. Especially useful for melee oriented playstyle.
- Just a Dream works only when we're below critical peril, which is totally the opposite of what this build trying to aim for.
Equinax Mk IV Voidstrike Force Staff is the only staff whose alternate fire (RMB) works with Surge.
I especially recommend using Voidstrike's fully charged RMBs against bosses.
Lastly, if you're finding yourself controlling your peril effectively, there's probably no reason for you to have Warp Unbound.
You're free to choose whatever you like at this point.
This build lacks in possible max damage output. If you're more interested in some sort of damage gambling, this build might pick your interest: https://darktide.gameslantern.com/builds/a1164c8d-1e26-4631-9618-d44f645ff9ac/dotd-update-super-vergil-originalpng-less-stable-greatsword
