still kinda working on the build but its in a place I really like currently. some of my choices probably super optimal but i liked for me. ammo deposit instead of foe render creed is bc im taking volatic motivator instead of uncapped arrestor. both servo-sinew surge and uncapped arrestor give melee attack speed, attack speed of different types stacks with less diminishing returns then attack speed of the same types. so the "melee attack speed" of servo-sinew surge and generic "attack speed" of voltaic motivator go together better than both sources of melee attack speed. i could run all 3 but the combat blade doesnt need THAT much attack speed. and thats also just way to much m1 spamming for my fingers. servo sinew surge over uncapped arrestor bc crit chance and crit chance is like the whole reason to run flensing over power overload. also voltaic motivator gives a potentially larger amount of attack speed and it benefits the arc rifle as well, which can tear shit up after ability use. the boost is for 15 seconds which is a huge time for a buff and this build does not need to wait for 3 charges every time to use ability so uptime can be very good. foe render creed cleave buff is tiny and does probably nothing for the combat blade, the 7.5% rending is good but its the same amount that 1 crit applies with system shock so i can pass on such a small buff. id probably take no aura at all but with 25 of the classes toughness baked into the aura, its really really hard not to take an aura. ammo aura rounds off my arc rifle so 197 reserve which is 200 in my mind and I like being at a simple number.

I dont take any of the weakspot kill or weakspot damage talents because arc rifle does need weakspot hits and its inaccurate, better to aim for center of mass. plus a lot of combat blade kills are from flesh tearer bleed or electrostrike conduit so no weakspot kill from those.

the ranged kill talents i took on right side all proc off the same thing and last the same time, which I like for simplicity. could have maybe taken galvanic marking array but id have to sacrafice a point elsewhere and it procs of stricter conditions then the rest. its really good tho. would have loved to take assassination protocols but again, id have to sacrifice a talent elsewhere and there are just so many great skit talents. i take servo skull as i love the objective util and its just really good even without any subnodes. it can also proc the ranged kill talents while you melee and is another reason why i took the ones i did as all proc off any ranged kill. the 2 more important ones- threat detection imperative and hybrid combat covenant both decay 1 stack at a time too, which allow for so much more flexibility in your playstyle and let you actually rely on your servo skull to get ranged kills while you melee as not getting a ranged kill within 8 seconds doesnt complete end the buff. superior defense engrams is one of the 3 that doesnt decay 1 stack at a time, but its the least needed to as stacking matters less. the perk just essentially a better version of gives 8% toughness on ranged kills. get just 1 ranged kill and you regen 8% toughness over the next 8 seconds, get another near the end of the buff or even 2 and thats now 16% or 24% toughness over the next 8 seconds. I think its pretty good and doesnt necessarily need stacks to decay 1 at a time to get as much use out of it like the other 2 do.
