Description
I keep a stiff upper lip and I shoot from the hip
Up close and personal shooter, all glory to Accatran Mk XII Recon Lasgun. Best DPS out of the bunch and very economic with Shock Trooper . Due to crit streaking of recon guns, every critical hit makes 2 additional shots also crits. This totals into >30% actual ranged crit with this build, so feel free to blast hordes.
Classic Onslaught Recon build finetuned to modern day shooting all day long.
- Being in the front fits Recon very well
- Raw damage, low weak spot profile, no need for fancy shooting (but it helps and stacks Marksman for even more damage)
- Precise hip fire up to 15m, blast as you go.
- Aim at elite groups to cut them at neck level. Onslaught eats away their armor.
- Hordes you can hose down going a bit side to side, let the burn procs do their thing.
- Improved sprint speed gets you around, while constantly moving stacks Skirmisher
- Krak Grenade Grenadier build with Demolition Stockpile Demolition Team & Field Improvisation to make Crusher & Bulwark packs a non-issue (3 stacks of Skirmisher will 1 shot Crusher , 2 stacks leave 60 hp). Also works on Scab Mauler & Scab Rager packs and hurts Monsters if you have 'nades to spare. Stocks back up very quickly at Auric level intensity.
- Cadia Mk IV Assault Chainsword with Rampage to horde clear and Bloodletter to kill elites and specials:
- With Skirmisher up Bloodletter heavy special kills Scab Mauler Bulwark and Reaper with 1 hit bodyshot.
- Crusher ammo & grenade saving trick: Shoot about 1/3 of their hp, finish with chainsword special. They are burning, bleeding and at max brittleness while shredder tears them apart. Nice quick kill.
- Since we are shooting most of the time anyways Executioner's Stance improves it further:
- Pick out specials.
- Extra oomph for blasting through elite groups.
- Tightens the las to laser while hip firing.
tl/dr Get up close, shoot lasgun at everything, ammo last long time. Krak big hardy boys.
