22.12.2025 Updates:

  • Ranged weapon changed
  • Minor changes in pathing
  • Description updates

Build Highlight (Outdated): https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2602297157

Main role: Frontlining and keeping things focused on you, while doing CC and damage!

Things to do:

  • Use Heavy Attacks and pushes. Light attacks are almost useless. Main combo: Heavy1>quick block tap>Heavy1
  • Dive in into the gunners and Taunt all of them.
  • Taunt blobs of elites and kite them, while slowly picking away from that blob.
  • Protect your Psyker and Veteran.
  • Hold chokepoints.
  • Your Boss damage is kinda low, so bosses are not your priority, but you can still taunt Captain away from other boss and kite/hold it (with an armor pack for example), while your team deals with other boss.
  • Big Friendly Rock can be used to: Snipe Mutant and other specials. Free teammates eaten by Beast of Nurgle if you throw the rock into the back weakspot. Stagger and ledge Plague Ogryn with headshots. Stagger Chaos Spawn while it performs flurry of attacks and head is in predictable place.

Things not to do:

  • Cornering yourself after using Loyal Protector, you can sit behind shield special untill dog or trapper arrives. Do that only as Emergency and not as normal behaviour.
  • Excessive shooting. Don't be a silly shooting ogryn. You are here to protect your team and create space!
  • Swapping to Rumbler. NO! Throw Rumbler straight into the trash bin. That weapon is useless for high havoc(Can't snipe Priority targets fast enough, low ammo amount) and teaches you really bad habbits and value of Steady Grip with Rumbler is really weak.
  • Swapping to "Brunt's Basher" Mk IIIb Bully Club or Krourk Mk IV Cleaver with Confident Strike. If you are going in into Rotten Armour or The Encroaching Garden modifiers with those weapons, i wish fast and smooth deranking straight to Havoc20. Because those weapons dps are not enough to overcome Crusher spam/healing or hold the frontline.

P.S. Swapping to Feel No Pain+ Strongest! its justified when: You are struggling with survivability or new to the Havoc or afraid of "Rotten Armor" elite spam. But when you become more comfortable with the game flow and legwork, you should swap to Heavy Hitter, because Feel No Pain will require you do to more pushes, than required (To keep Feel No Pain stacks) and that will result in less damage output vs your priority targets aka Melee Elites (Crusher Bulwark Scab Mauler Scab Rager Dreg Rager).
