Build notes:
With the introduction of Great Cleaver, and the recent buff to the mobility of the power maul (Charge heavies while sprinting, being the big one) it has become an incredible tool for high density of mixed elites. If you've played Vermintide think of this like a 2h Hammer/Trollhammer build, but on Slayer its pretty great. Rumbler in this build is a crowd control and anti-boss tool. Rock for specials. Upgraded rock opted out of because its actually underwhelming due to its internal cooldown vs a special wave. If I had more points, sure, I feel they're better allocated elsewhere.
Paul Notes:
Power Output dumped because the activated Shockwave is still pretty stinky. Situations you might be tempted to use it you're usually better off firing a quick rumbler shot at your feet. Mobility (defense, in this case) is good actually, especially in synergy with No Stopping Me that lil bit of dodge distance can be the make or break between whether you get into melee range of that trapper before it shoots or getting stuffed. Side dodge, dodge slide, forward slide. Know your movement options and you're set up for success.
BNB Combos:
Horde clear/Mixed Elites: Heavy. No joke just keep hitting the button. With Slam and Great Cleaver working together this build is set up to achieve the stagger breakpoint on Mixed Elites sans Bulwark and Crushers on the lightest heavy, straight up swing away your Disjointed Hitbox in the weapon's active frames IS your major defensive layer. Keep everything on its ass at all times. Crushers Staggered with a about a half charge heavy, aim for full charge if they're doing an overhead you want to knock them out of. Shoot Bulwarks if Massed, just swing around their shield if its a single one.
Fast chaff clear:
For hounds, a couple stragglers, or whatever you'll want to Push attack then follow up with 2 or 3 horizontal lights, ezpz.
Single target:
Light 1 -> Light 2 -> Block Cancel -> repeat. Light one and light 2 are strikedown hits and will USUALLY be your ideal melee solution on a single priority target.
Shoot bosses, ideally. If targeted by a boss and kiting, throw heavies between dodges for the increased toughness regen from Ogryn's talents.
Rumbler notes:
Statted for quick shots and boss elimination. The vast majority of situations can be handled in melee in this build, having the flexibility of an AOE explosion stagger tool at any range can be very versatile for both combat and objectives. Shoot a demon piece while you melee another, etc. Ideally aim for the head on Plague Ogryn or Spawn, the back eye on beasts. Melee shielded bossess, generally.
There is a great deal of versatility available for the rumbler, but for this specific build this is the setup I went for.
Rock notes: See that trapper? GOT A ROCK. Usually your go to for flamethrowers just out of melee range. If it does not 1 tap an enemy literally just stroll on up and whoop em while they're down.
