A surprisingly balanced build with good melee capabilities & outstanding burst windows on Boss/Carapace packs.

Priority list:

  1. Farm Keeping Protocol with Doggo. Farming purples with Bolter single shots is okay, with moderation: we still want the majority of our ammo going into Boss/Carapace.
  2. Boss coming? Dakka Dakka. Ideal scenario:
2.1: While switching to Bolter, dodge to proc Arbites Revelatum & send Doggo on marked enemy for Execution Order
    2.2: Aquila on the Boss
2.3: Dump magazine into weakspot. At this point we're loaded with bonuses: BIG DAKKA
  3. Bonk with Branx Mk III Arbites Shock Maul. Blessings + Arbites Revelatum + Soulguilt Scan + Concussive + bottom right talents = serious bonking from both heavy chains

Against few Crushers: hit once with Bonk, use Special attack to stun them, then Heavy>Light chain

Against big horde density: spam horizontal heavy>light chain with the Bonk while dodging. Keep track of Doggo position so you can Remote Detonation
Against the rest: trust the Bonk and most importantly, trust Doggo

On Arbites Shock Maul:  With up to +20% attack speed via Hammer of Judgement & Execution Order, along with the bottom damage nodes, it has great damage. The bread & butter of the weapon is Heavy>Light chain, both the vertical & horizontal version are great at what they do. The special is safer to use than Standard Shock Maul and is very handy.

On Standard Shock Maul: Outstanding weapon for Arbites thanks to Skullcrusher + Concussive synergy. Versatile and quick, it does a bit less damage than Arbites Shock Maul but is overall safer thanks to its quick attacks and good mobility.

Things I'm still hesitating about:

  • Bolter second blessing. For now I've traded Shattering Impact for Pinning Fire. Boss damage for whole team is good, but Pinning Fire is great against everything else.
  • Arbites Shock Maul blessings. Still experimenting. So far:
    • Relentless Strikes seems wasteful when we already have the Bolter for high HP enemies.
    • Falter + Hammerblow = +215% stagger when bonking the head. Interrupts Crusher overhead & Maniacs: without a doubt the safest setup for the weapon.
    • High Voltage  + Execution : boring, reliable damage increases
  • Blessed Armament & Writ of Execution versus Judicious Efficiency & Not Far Behind: I've tried Blessed Armament, and while it sounds great in theory, in practice I prefer more bullets and more damage. 18 bullets + a Remote Detonation are usually enough to handle the Crusher pack, and the buffs provide steady value for the whole game since they're not tied to an ability.
  • Judicious Efficiency: increases dps against Bosses and smoothen the worse part of Bolter: reloading. Still, there are several talents that are 1 point away and could provide more value
  • Not Far Behind: a nice buff with good uptime, but I don't mind swapping it for another goodie
