• The Las Rifle - So cool, yet not great in these games. How do you make it good? Well, this lil-hotshot Kantrael MkIIb Infantry Lasgun acts as a slower-shooting, higher-finesse damage alternative to the recon las. Infernus as this is a hotshot las  with Headhunter for more reliable crits. Deadshot is here to increase crit chance, compensated by the stamina curio and Tunnel Vision. You can run the Mk9 dropping Infernusfor Deadly Accurate while better one-shot capability i find its reliance on headshots poor on Scab Mauler, Scab Plasma Gunner and spicy meatballs (Chaos Spawn). Poor general carapace damage, however Onslaught is here to weaken those armored hordes with a few taps before moving in with your Silver!  It's not glamorous, but neither was half of what the Chief Scout did; it still got the job done. FULL-AUTO MOD RECOMMENDED
• Tanith Straight Silver -  One part mobility tool for the poor speed on the Kantrael Mk IX Infantry Lasgun and two part solid horde clear and armour poker. Solid bleed damage into hordes with Flesh Tearer and solid armour piercer with Uncanny Strike paired with those bleeds, makes this blade a very versatile choice with no need for backstabs. 
• Scout's Stance - Your go-to mode when shooting; the buff to The Bigger they Are ... means you can be here for ages in longer firefights. Uptime on this is the whole build, so don't break stance chasing stragglers. Just ensure you're hitting your headshots! This mode with lasrifle and Marksman's Focus makes it damn easy to keep your DPS high as long as your hitting weak spots. After all, a scout who wastes shots isn't a scout; he's a target.
• Krak's -  For your major threats, save these for the things las-fire alone won't dent, such as bosses and crusher groups. If only one crusher, just use your knife and Onslaught; you don't wanna be facing a boss without a pile of Kraks for the excellent stagger.
