I make these build pages to send to friends so they can easily tell what I run, don't lose your head if it isn't perfect, adjust to preference.

 

Melee is preferably avoided as the build relies a lot on spewing as much soulblaze into hordes as possible, but melee is inevitable. The greatsword can help keep up the spread of soulblaze when it crits and its active ability can swipe away a crowd in a pinch. The Deflector blessing can also be taken in order to protect yourself from ranged threats, which is something this build struggles with.

My personal top recommendations for alternative melees are;

Deimos Mk IV Blaze Force Sword (Can also grab Deflector blessing)

Maccabian Mk IV Duelling Sword 

 

 

The Inferno Staff should be self explanatory. Spew the alternative charged fire into hordes and lines of elites to get that damage out. You do this preferably when you're safe and not when you're getting beaten to a pulp. If you're in danger, do not hesitate to swap to melee to fend off enemies until you can comfortably get back to using the staff.

The only alternative to the inferno staff I can offer;

Equinox Mk III Voidblast Force Staff (With both Warp Nexus and Blazing Spirit )

 

 

Your greatest weakness are targets outside of conflagration range, and your only real response is closing the gap or using your brain burst. You can use a venting shriek to get out some quick head bursts. You should generally stick with your team and try play around choke points to funnel as many enemies into your flames as possible.

 

Also don't be afraid to hit critical peril, you can use your shriek to prevent your demise. Just make sure you have another shriek ready before you go critical again.
