I make these build pages to send to friends so they can easily tell what I run, don't lose your head if it isn't perfect, adjust to preference.
Damage output is generally so high, you can grab most melee weapons of your liking. Weapons that can attack faster, apply more DoT or reliably deal with armor.
My personal top recommendations for alternative melees are;
Cadia Mk IV Assault Chainsword
Ranged options are prefered to deal with distant elites like snipers and gunners, grab something you can reliable hit mid-range with.
Alternate ranged options are;
Zarona Mk IIa Quickdraw Stub Revolver
Branx MkVIII Dual Stub Pistols
The needle pistol can also help you deal with larger targets by just poisoning the crap out of them, but doesn't instantly take care of important threats with a bullet or two.
A good tip for maximum stimm uptime, using your stimm rather than putting down the crate will leave the crate ready for deployment while your personal stimm ticks away, this ofcourse won't benefit your team, but you can sort of rotate the two cooldowns if you want to keep yourself more stimmed up. If you'd rather not bother and just throw out crates it is isn't a problem as the cooldown on the crate is quite generous if you play it right.
