Description
I make these build pages to send to friends so they can easily tell what I run, don't lose your head if it isn't perfect, adjust to preference.
Melee is pretty straight forward and you can really grab any melee weapon of your liking. With this vet build I rely more on grenades and the plasma gun to help me deal with armor, so I lean towards horde clearing weapons I enjoy. The MkI Shovel's heavy swings are great for the rank and file hordes but may not be to your liking.
My personal top recommendations for alternative melees are;
Cadia Mk XIIIg Assault Chainsword
Catachan Mk IV "Devil's Claw" Sword
Maccabian Mk IV Duelling Sword
The plasma gun can deal out so much damage to multiple enemies or accurately on targets at range, it's easily the best pick here and together with Always Prepared , can easily stay topped up on magazine ammo for a long time as long as you swap with enough ranged stacks.
Alternate ranged options can preferably deal with armor reliably such as;
Zarona Mk IIa Quickdraw Stub Revolver
Locke Mk IIb Spearhead Boltgun
Agripinaa Mk I Infantry Autogun (Struggles with carapace but quite versatile besides that)
Additionally, the Field Improvisation can be swapped around to either Born Leader if you want to share more toughness with the team, or really anything else to either boost your own or your team's performance.
The build also relies a lot on grenades and regenerating them to take out big threats such as groups of Bulwarks/Crushers/Maulers as well as any bosses. Krak grenades dont magnetize towards Bosses, but still stick with a direct hit and deal a ton of damage.
