Description
Fun off-meta build for when Ogryn's staples get a little boring, emphasizing light spam for hordes and PBB for elites. When built properly, the heavy stubbers hilariously outperform their twin-linked counterparts in almost every way: faster reload and brace times, more accurate, more mobile, less recoil, more ammo efficient, and more dps. Maybe only the twin Achlys in its ideal conditions (point blank, >90% headshot accuracy on monstrosities, taking advantage of crit chains) outperforms it, but that kind of hair-splitting only matters for Havoc. Range is the dump stat because you don't lose much damage at 60 while Collateral benefits Pinning Fire. You should have pretty decent ability uptime thanks to all the CDR you're stacking. The heavy stubbers don't crit chain so any boosts to crit rate or damage won't be good.
NOTE: Even with the buffs to twin stubbers in the Beyond the Hive update, I'd still generally recommend the heavies over them for this build. If you want to lean into the class fantasy more, take an Achlys twin and replace Reloaded and Ready with Good Shootin' to take advantage of crit chains. Its dps boost is persistent vs the boost in the 8s following a reload or ult activation.
I skip Batter / Delight in Destruction on this loadout for a couple reasons:
1. For tougher targets, you're probably using the stubber anyway, PBB activated or not.
2. Defensively you already have Confident Strike, Steady Grip , and Mobile Emplacement .
(Not recommended for Havoc.)
