Description
This is built around toughness regen, toughness DR, and a bunch of other things I can't fit into a quick concise list. The crux of it however is solely Survivability.
There's plenty of mental equations that you can do in your head as i do when playing zealot, but it can be boiled down to a few simple facts:
- Increased Revive speed to ensure you're able to get folks up whether you have your chorus buff active or inactive.
- Prioritized crowd shredding to keep your allies focused on monstrosities, bosses, or pesky elites during ambush waves.
- Immolation Grenade to provide a relatively safe area for yourself to work on a faulted out interro-skull.
- Increased health, toughness, and combat ability regen to make sure you get the most uses out of Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude.
- Increased wounds with Faith's Fortitude to allow yourself to force downs if you're in need a quick reset on health.
Beacon of Purity can be swapped out for Benediction if your team has been struggling on the higher difficulties, corruption removal isn't exactly needed but it can be a nice thing to have if things go your way.
Your main focus with this build will be melee. The flamethrower is a good pick solely for ambush waves but you can use really any ranged weapon for this build, whether you keep it as crowd shredding or single target that's up to you to decide.
- For Crowd Shredding, 25% increased damage toward Infested/Unarmored enemies with either the Artemia Mk III Purgation Flamer or the Graia Mk IV Braced Autogun.
- For Armor Shredding, 25% increased damage toward Carapace/Flak armored enemies with either the Godwyn-Branx Mk IV Bolt Pistol or the Vraks Mk V Infantry Autogun.
- For Single Target, 10% increased damage toward Specialist/Elite enemies with the Crucis Mk XI Double-Barrelled Shotgun, the Locke Mk IIb Spearhead Boltgun, the Zarona Mk IIa Quickdraw Stub Revolver, or the Agripinaa Mk VII Combat Shotgun.
Usually, you don't want to be the vulture in the group, but if there's ever a moment to pluck the stimm out of someone's reach it should ALWAYS be for Concentration stimms. Those will be your best friend on assassination missions or for when a Plague Ogryn or Chaos Spawn are active and nearby. The less they can swing on your teammates while you have them stunned with Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude, the better.
